Megutokoubou — written 恵努工房 in Japanese — literally means "the workshop of grace and effort." It is a one-bench operation where small aluminum parts are turned on a manual lathe, anodized locally, and packed by hand.

恵努工房（メグトコウボウ）は、「恵（めぐみ）」と「努（つとめ）」の二文字を掲げた、日本の小さな工房です。一本の旋盤を前に、小さなアルミの部品を一つひとつ削り出し、地元でアルマイト加工を施し、手で箱詰めしています。

Our first product — the Universal Canister — was born out of a simple wish: to carry a single shot of good beans anywhere, without compromise. We built it for the Comandante, the grinder that first taught us how a hand mill should feel.

最初の製品「汎用キャニスター」は、小さな願いから生まれました。どこへでも、一杯分の良質な豆を、そのまま連れて行きたい。手挽きミルの手触りを教えてくれた Comandante のために、私たちはこのキャニスターを作りました。
